Each year, AYBL holds a raffle in which three winners are selected for a top prize of $500 and two runner-up prizes are award of $250 each. In an effort to reduce the cost of printing the raffle tickets and the time needed to distribute and collect the raffle tickets and stubs to all players, the league will be using virtual tickets for the 2021 Raffle. Each player registered for the league has been randomly assigned 5 ticket numbers. The ticket numbers for all registered players will be posted on the AYBL website (on the home page). The raffle will be done via a computer program which will select 3 random numbers of the lot of available ticket numbers from 1,000 to 6868. The first number selected will be the grand prize winner. The next two random numbers selected will be the runner-up winners. The drawing will take place during the award ceremony after the first championship game with the supervision of the two coaches from the first championship game. The league will post the winning names & numbers on the league website.
Any questions regarding the new process for the annual league raffle should be directed to the Board Members of AYBL.
